Job description
To assist the Pastor in day to day operation of the church, we are recruiting a full-time volunteer Church Administrator. The position will be on a volunteership basis with possibility for enhancement to employee status after three months during which a stipend will be provided to cater for upkeep and housing expenses. The enhancement to employee status will be based on individual performance.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend Sunday church services at Deliverance Church, Kabati for ease of handling logistical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the pastor.
- Managing church records and documents.
- Coordinate church communication and updating social media channels of the church.
- Coordinate midweek and Sunday meetings logistics both online and offline.
- Coordinate church events including mission events.
- Manage office supplies.
- Actively engage in outreach activities.
- Other duties as may be directed by the pastor.
Requirements
- Be a born again Christian.
- Diploma holder or equivalent with training in Christian ministry.
- Experience in office administrative roles.
- Communication skills and other interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Christian service.
